Thank you to everyone who protested and demonstrated safely on campus on Friday evening for the Reform Society event. We support York Students’ Union’s statement that this has been “a challenging time for many within our community, it’s not always easy to meet everyone’s expectations. We may not always get it perfectly right, but we’re proud to be part of a vibrant community that engages openly and thoughtfully with complex and sensitive issues.”

Keep your belongings safe around campus
|
Please take extra care to keep an eye on your valuables and not leave them unattended on campus - even for a short amount of time. Please note, if you leave a study space unattended for more than an hour in the Library, your belongings may be removed from the area by Library staff. See more on our commitments, your responsibilities.

Observing Remembrance Day
|
On Tuesday 11 November, the University invites you all, wherever you are, to pause what you are doing at 11am to observe a two-minute silence in memory of those who have lost their lives or had their lives affected by war. If you decide not to accept this invitation, we ask you to respect those who do wish to take part.
If you find yourself affected by conflicts currently occurring anywhere in the world, please visit our website to find out how we can support you.
