1. How to revise and take exams at York

Revision Week is finally here… but where do you begin? If things go wrong, you have options available to you - see information about exceptional circumstances affecting assessment. For advice and support, you can contact your personal supervisor, Student Wellbeing Officer or get in touch with the York SU Advice and Support team.

2. Mental Health Awareness Week

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week, acting as a timely reminder of how important it is to support our mental health and wellbeing in times of challenge. It’s completely normal to feel stressed in the lead up to a deadline or exam, but even tiny actions can have a massive impact on your wellbeing. Explore ten quick ways you can boost your mental health while you are revising, and if it starts to feel too much, our advice on exam stress can help you calm yourself during an exam or deadline.

Take a Break

On campus this week? Be sure to stop by the Library foyer between 2-4pm today and tomorrow (11-12 May) to pick up a free assessment support kit from our Wellbeing Officers, or check out their pop-up Take a Break space starting this week - featuring visits from Milo the Therapy Dog on set days.

3. Accessibility Awareness Day

Join our EDI team this Thursday (14 May) for our first University Accessibility Awareness Day. In addition to insightful talks, tips and community feedback sessions and panel insights, the day includes a range of interactive workshops such as badge-making, wheelchair skills and braille for beginners.
