UoY community update

Reminder: Bonfire Night safety

Bonfire Night, or Guy Fawkes Night, is a traditional UK festival that takes place on Wednesday (5 November). For safety reasons - and to be mindful of your neighbours and local community - please do not light fires or set off fireworks on University grounds or the playing fields and parks in the surrounding area. Instead, head to various organised bonfire events around York.

Seismic survey on campus

In partnership with EchoGeo, we're conducting a seismic survey as part of the Deep Geothermal Project across York to help map underground geology. Activity will be taking place on Campus East on Saturday (8 November), starting near the York Sports Village and moving west.
