Scam warning: international students be wary of sudden ‘official’ contact
|
We have been notified of a current scam where international students are contacted by an ‘official’ advising of a problem with their International Health Surcharge (IHS) or visa. The scam is convincing, involving seemingly legitimate information, but it is out of the blue where the student is asked to keep quiet about the contact. Please see our 7 tips for spotting a scam that all students should consider if you receive an unexpected phone call or message.

3. 2nd years: Take a Placement Year?
|
Registration closes on 10 February for current 2nd year students (or 3rd year Integrated Masters students) who are interested in completing a placement next academic year. The Placement Year is recognised within your degree title and provides the opportunity to experience a particular job sector or working environment over the course of 9-12 months before returning to complete your final year studies.
