NEW: Campus West student mailroom weekend opening

For a trial period, Dalham Farm Student Mailroom on Campus West is now open on Saturdays and Sundays between 11am to 4pm. Once you’ve been notified via email, you’ll now be able to collect your post on Campus West at the weekend.

Be a good neighbour

We all have a responsibility to the community we live in, and being a good neighbour is one of them. To best support our local neighbours, we ask our community to:

  • Keep noise levels down, especially late at night.
  • Park sensibly and legally (if you use a car), without blocking access for others.
  • Be aware of fast moving vehicles around campus, especially during rush hour.
  • Avoid using the Heslington church car park as a shortcut to campus, particularly during peak school drop-off times.

Thank you for helping us to maintain our community of respect - both on campus, and off.

Don’t forget: Careers Fairs this week

Stop by the STEM learning centre this week for our upcoming Law Fair (21 October) and Graduate Jobs and Placements Fair (22 October). Meet employers, explore our free workwear wardrobe, review your CV with a Careers team member and even take a professional headshot for Linkedin! Our new Careers Fair First Steps guide helps you to prepare and know what to say when you meet employers.

1. Protect yourself from new Cyber Scams

Following a recent increase in the number of cyber security threats targeting both staff and students across our University community, our IT team has produced updated guidance to help you identify the most recent phishing attempts, and keep your personal data secure.

Not sure where to start? We’ve also broken down simple steps you can take today to stay safe online.
